Therapy is a place where growth happens. While feeling safe and supported, the people that I work with are able to look inside themselves to find answers, learn coping strategies, and rediscover strengths.
I have extensive experience helping people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, addiction, codependency, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Through active listening, asking questions, and providing feedback, I facilitate the process of therapy. However, you set the pace, and together we work to help you feel better.
Online Therapy – Teletherapy
Currently I am only seeing patients via teletherapy appointments. Teletherapy consists of online video sessions during which we’re able to see and hear each other in real time without being in the same room. Insurance companies reimburse the cost of teletherapy in the same way they reimburse the cost of in-person psychotherapy.
Many people I work with appreciate the commute-free option of teletherapy. They find that it is more convenient than in-person sessions, and that it allows them to feel more comfortable sharing things that are difficult to talk about. If you have a smart phone or a computer with a camera, you can do teletherapy!
